Ego Restaurants, the joint venture between 3Sixty Restaurants and Mitchells & Butlers, has lined up two further openings, taking it to 20 sites in total.
The Mediterranean pub and restaurant group is currently refurbished Manor Farm Stonehouse on Malvern Road in Worcester, for a mid-October opening. It is situated a few miles from Worcester Cathedral and the Cherry Tree Orchard Nature Reserve.
It is also due to open The Forest at Lickey End in Bromsgrove today.
Ego opened its 18th site, The Wellington, in Shadwell, West Yorkshire last month, which came hot on the heels of the Punchbowl in Sefton Village, Merseyside in May.
Speaking to MCA in June, 3Sixty chief executive James Horler said that the business wanted to open around six sites a year “and we are pretty confident we can achieve that”.
He said they were looking in the Midlands, moving down into Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Essex.
The joint-venture was announced in August last year.
