Dishoom, the all-day Indian café concept, is to operate a pop-up bar called the Chowpatty Beach bar by the River Thames, as part of the Southbank Centre’s Festival of Britain’s 60th anniversary celebrations.

The Covent Garden-based concept, which opened last July, will operate its unique bar throughout the summer from the beginning of May and will offer “classic Bombay food” and drinks such as Bombay Pimm’s Summer Cup and Spiked Colaba, plus beers, wines, Prosecco and Champagne.
