Cristina Saulini, the St Tropez-based Italian restaurant, plans to make its UK debut later this year and is advanced talks to open in London’s Mayfair, M&C understands.
The restaurant is backed by entrepreneur Elliott Blum, who previously brought his high-end Blummyz concept to London.
Blum is believed to be in talks to acquire the Alloro restaurant site on Dover Street for the launch of Cristina in the UK.
The original Cristina restaurant opened in St Tropez in May 2010.
Blummyz opened on the former Italian restaurant Friends site on Hollywood Road in 2012, but has since become a Honky Tonk.
