Crepeaffaire, the all-day creperie concept, has confirmed it will open its first site in Kuwait later this year as part of plans to operate the brand under franchise in the region and secured a site in Amsterdam to bring Crepeaffaire to Holland, M&C Report has learnt.

The first site in Amsterdam will be run as a joint venture with Dutch confectionary brand Jamin and is due to open this spring.

The first Kuwaiti site will open in 2015 under franchise but is dependent on a site search.

The group, headed up by Daniel Spinath, has lined up its next UK openings in Islington for mid-March, Bristol, adjacent to the university, to open in April/May and at Birmingham’s Grand Central in September.

The first corporate site within a financial institution at Canary Wharf is being run on a trial basis to offer the Crepeaffaire breakfast and lunch menus five-days a week.

Meanwhile a Crepeaffaire events van is currently installed in Spitalfields Market ready to be used for mobile events and catering.

As previously flagged up in M&C Report the comapny is opening the first site under its Crepeaffaire Mini concept at Kidzania in London’s Westfield shopping centre this spring.
