Cote, the French brasserie chain backed by CBPE, has secured a site in Canterbury, as it further strengthens its openings pipeline for this year.

The group, which is looking to open up to 15 new sites across the UK this year taking its estate past the 70-restaurant mark, has secured part of the Jack Wills store in the towns St George’s Street for an opening later this summer.

The company opened its sixtieth site last week in Winchester, with its next opening linmed up for later this month in Chislehurst.

Just before Christmas, the group secured sites in Cirencester, Fulham Broadway and Norwich.

Since the start of the year, the company has also secured sites in Dorking, Leamington Spa and Cheltenham.

It has also lined up openings in Glasgow and Harrogate for later in the year.
