Senior figures at restaurant group Côte, Manchester-based brewer JW Lees and Zonal Retail Data Systems have been named among the regional finalists in the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year programme.

Harald Samúelsson and Alex Scrimgeour, joint managing directors of Côte, are included in the shortlist for the London and south east region.

JW Lees managing director William Lees Jones is a regional finalist for the north and Stuart McLean, managing director of Zonal Retail Data Systems, is named among the finalists for Scotland.

Dougal Sharp, chief executive of the Innis & Gunn Brewing Company, is also a finalist in the Scotland group. Michael Saunders, managing director of Bibendum Wine, is named as a London/south east finalist.

As part of the awards process, finalists will meet judges over the coming weeks, with the winners announced in June.
