Loungers is to open a Cosy Club in the Liverpool One development in December.

Located in a 5,900 sq ft first floor corner unit on Paradise Street, the restaurant will have a total of 300 covers.

Jake Bishop, managing director of Cosy Club, said: “Liverpool One is an important step in achieving our plans to open 100 restaurants. We are in a prime position in the heart of one of the UK’s leading retail and leisure destinations, in one of the most exciting cities in the country. Grosvenor’s continued focus on adding to Liverpool One’s offer has created a very vibrant location that attracts visitors from first thing in the morning right through into the evening. We cannot wait to open.”

Miles Dunnett, funds director at Grosvenor Europe, said: “Cosy Club adds a different dimension to our restaurant offer, providing even more choice for visitors. Along with the three new international retail brands, Cosy Club reflects our strategy of continually enhancing Liverpool ONE with offers that cannot be found elsewhere in the city or region.”

Cosy Club is the latest in a series of restaurants to join Liverpool ONE, following the opening earlier this year of Busaba, Turtle Bay, The Club House, Wahaca and Red’s True BBQ.

Cosy Club opened its 15th sit in Ipswich’s Butter Market last month and MCA understands the group has at least five more openings lined up for the first half of 2017.

Metis Real Estate Advisors and Cushman & Wakefield acted for Liverpool One. Cosy Club was represented by Insight Retail Consulting.
