Acclaimed international chef Costas Spiliadis is to open a branch of his Greek fish restaurant Estiatorio Milos in London in June.

This will be the sixth restaurant in the international portfolio for the restaurant brand, which already boasts sites in Montreal, New York City, Athens, Las Vegas and Miami.

Estiatorio Milos London will open at No 1 Regent Street, St James’s, in the Grade II-listed building that was previously British Columbia House.

The 180-cover restaurant will feature a main dining room, bar and fish market-style display on the ground floor, with a raw seafood bar, private dining rooms and wine cellar on the mezzanine level.

The venue has been designed jointly with Spiliadis and architect Alain Carle.

Spiliadis is widely recognised as pioneering North America’s Hellenic food scene by introducing cuisine from the islands of Greece. The Estiatorio Milos restaurants have a long-standing reputation for serving the freshest seafood.
