Cosmo, Hertfordshire-based, pan-Asian restaurant operators, is set to open its first site in the north of England, after securing a unit at the £200m Central Village scheme in Liverpool. The company, which currently operates 12 sites across the south of England and Cardiff, has taken a 14,000sq ft outlet at the development. The company, which was founded in 2003, opened an 800-cover restaurant claiming to be the largest restaurant in the UK in Croydon, last November. The group has plans to open further world cuisine restaurants in Birmingham, Derby, Manchester and Romford in the next three years.
