Ireland-based chicken and burger concept Coqbull is to launch its first English site next month in London’s Soho.

Due to open in the former Jamie’s Italian site on Denman Street, Coqbull Soho will be the brand’s first permanent bricks-and-mortar restaurant in the city, having held a residency at The Lock Tavern in Camden earlier this year.

The three-story site was originally intended to house restaurant brands MeatLiquor and Franco Manca following Jamie’s administration process last year, but the deal has since fallen through.

Coqbull currently operates three sites in Limerick, Cork and Castleltroy, with a menu comprising of burgers, chicken burgers, chicken wings and pizza.

Property company CDG Leisure acted on the deal.
