Coppa Club, the Hugh Osmond-backed concept, is to close its Oxford Circus site today, MCA understands.
The site, in Market Place, is understood to have traded at capacity but was ultimately deemed to be too small. Parent company Various Eateries is actively looking for larger sites in the area for the brand.
It leaves the group, which appointed Sue Walter as chief executive earlier this month, with four Coppa Clubs. A further site is set to open in Maidenhead in the summer.
Various Eateries is also set to re-open its 31 below concept in Marylebone on Saturday after work to add extra acoustic protection to the venue.
Earlier this month the group reported £8.6m of sales in its first quarter, to the end of December 2017. Coppa Club saw like-for-like sales growth of over 40% to £2.7m during the period.
