Simon Rowe, former group financial officer at Paramount Restaurants, has become interim director at independent contract catering specialist Company of Cooks.
Rowe joins the group after a stint as interim finance director at Be At One, the London-based cocktail bar chain. He is also currently part-time finance director at Princi - Alan Yau’s restaurant and bakery venture in London and stepped down from Paramount Restaurants at the end of last year.
Earlier this year, industry veteran Ian Neill, currently chairman Las Iguanas and a non-executive director at Jamie’s Italian, was appointed chairman of Company of Cooks.
The company was founded by Mike Lucy in 1996 with its first partnership with English Heritage at Kenwood House. It now has an annual turnover of around £30m and partners include The Royal Opera House, the Royal Horticultural Society, South Bank Centre, The Royal Parks, RHS Garden Wisley, the Imperial War Museum and the Royal Observatory.
