Coal Grill & Bar, the John Gater-led and Charterhouse Leisure-backed group, plans to open six new restaurants next year as it looks to take its estate to 16 sites.
The group, which is set to open in Telford before the end of the year, will open its 10th site at the new Regent Circus development in Swindon at the end of January 2015.
M&C Report understands that the company has further sites in the pipeline in Manchester City, Bromley (South) and at Bedford Riverside.
The group said it is comfortably on target to be operating 16 branches by the end of 2015, with sites already in discussion for 2016 and 2017.
It will occupy 3,500sq ft and create 30 full and part time positions when it opens in Swindon.
Gater said: “We consider our locations carefully when opening a new restaurant. The location of our restaurant opening in Swindon provides us with the perfect mix of shopping and leisure facilities. We have experienced great success in opening in locations with the combination of the two which provides a platform for trading across the day.”
