Noodle bar chain Chopstix is to open its 75th outlet, at Belfast International Airport.

The brand will open in the Emo Express fuel forecourt today.

Max Hilton Jenvey, chief operating officer of Chopstix, said: “In recent times, Chopstix has become increasingly visible in the country’s high streets and motorways, however as a relatively new brand, to be selected as part of the retail offering within the first ever unmanned Emo Express forecourt on the island of Ireland is very special for us, as it demonstrably underlines the increasing popularity of our brand.”

He added: “We are especially pleased to open at this historic time for Belfast International itself, given that it is now on course to celebrate a record year, with annual passenger numbers set to reach 5.8m for the first time.”
