Chopstix, the fast growing noodle bar chain, has signed a franchise deal with petrol station operator Applegreen to launching sites in Ireland.

The first site under the deal opened this month in Galway, with a number of further openings set to come online later this year.

By adding Chopstix Group UK, this fresh new noodle offer to our portfolio of franchise partners we are giving our Customers a wider choice for eating on the go.”

Applegreen already offers a large number of quick service restaurants, such as Subway, Burger King and Costa Coffee.

Earlier this month, Chopstix launched a new franchise and licensing model to consolidate its restaurants and processes as it aims to have an estate of 600 to 800 UK sites.

The group currently operates 23 sites around the UK and has a further 22 under its existing franchise agreement.
