Chilango, the burrito bar chain led by Eric Partaker and Dan Houghton, has lined up a further two opening in London for later this year.

The group, in which Pembroke, the venture capital trust, whose investors include Sir Charles Dunstone, the Carphone Warehouse founder, and the Next chief Lord Wolfson, took a stake last year, has moved closer to opening at 24 Brewer Street after submitting a license application for the unit.

It is also thought to be in advanced talks on a site at 18 King William Street in the City.

Chilango currently operates six sites across the capital and all of them are believed to be profitable.

Its last opening was at Leather Lane last autumn.

Pembroke has invested c£450k in the group, taking a 3% stake.
