Carluccio’s, the all-day Italian restaurant and deli chain, is to launch a series of festive pop-ups across the country next month, M&C Report has learnt.

Set to run from the middle of next month in Liverpool; Manchester, Trafford; Leicester; Exeter; Bristol Cabots; Leamington; Worcester; Bath; Bristol Cribbs and Milton Keynes, the pop-ups will showcase the group’s Christmas seasonal products.

In the majority of cases, the sites will be close to existing Carluccio’s restaurants. It is thought that the sites will generate an extra c£1m of turnover for the company.

The pop-ups will run up to an including Christmas Eve.

At the same time the group has secured further restaurant sites in Cheltenham and Bishop Stortford for openings early next year, when it is also set to make its debut in the US. The company has taken the former Cafe Rouge site in Bishop Stortford.

Earlier this month, the company opened its latest restaurant site in Silverburn, Glasgow.

It has also secured sites in York, Woking and Barnet for openings later this year.

The company is on track to have 100 sites open by the year end.
