The Independent reports how Caprice Holdings, owner of the Ivy, and Jeremy King and Chris Corbin, who own the Wolsey, are battling it out with new ventures fighting for the right staff, the right location and the right diners.
Caprice will open Scott’s, in London’s Mayfair, next month while King and Corbin are planning a new venture called St Alban, on Lower Regent Street.
St Alban’s food will be contemporary and European, with influences from Portugal, France and Italy, and cooked in wood-fired ovens and charcoal grills.
