All-day café concept Gastrono-me has initiated plans for a multi-site expansion over the next three years.

The private equity-backed brand currently operates a single site in Bury St Edmunds, and founders Gemma and Mike Simmonite, alongside acquisition specialist Stonebrook London, are seeking new locations.

The pair have said they are initially concentrating on ABC1 sites. Presently in talks on a site in Cambridge, further target locations include Brighton, Oxford, Cheltenham, Reading, Bath and Cardiff.

The business has been trading from its 110-cover restaurants for three years, serving bottomless brunch, lunch and dinner. It also houses an underground speakeasy style karaoke room.
