Byron, the fast-growing chain of up-market burger restaurants, has secured two further sites as it continues its rollout across London, as it closes in on operating a 20-strong estate by the end of the year. The chain, which is led by Tom Byng, has secured sites in Northcote Road, Clapham and at the Central St Giles Piazza development in the West End. The company, which recently opened its 16th site in the capital in Hoxton Square, Shoreditch, has taken on the Marzano site in Northcote Road, with an opening scheduled for September. The chain has also taken Unit 2 at the Central St Giles Piazza, and is looking to open at the development before the end of the year to take advantage of the run up to Christmas. A Peyton & Byrne café bakery, Huseyin Ozer’s Turkish restaurant Sofra, Italian chain Zizzi and a Fishworks site have also so far opened or agreed to open at the development. Byron will also open at the Greenwich Promenade scheme before the end of the year.
