Goodman Restaurants, backer of the Burger & Lobster concept, is to launch its new ultra premium King Crab & Steak restaurant site called Beast in central London next month.
The site, on Chapel Street, near Oxford Street, opens on 6 May.
Davis Strauss, who heads the UK operation at Goodman, told Bloomberg: “The concept will be one fixed price to include starters, main courses, side dishes, desserts. There will be no substitutions, no daily specials.”
M&C reported in November that Burger & Lobster is to open a restaurant, provisionally called Steak & Crab, on Chapel Place, with the 5,500 sq ft basement site to serve Alaskan king crab and steak on the bone.
Goodman plans to roll out its Burger & Lobster concept across the UK, as well as internationally, in the next couple of years, with a focus on both major and minor cities. The next and sixth Burger & Lobster to open is to be at the Ora Restaurant site in Little Great Portland Street, Fitzrovia.
