BRGR Co, the Lebanon-based burger concept, will finally open its second site in the UK this December in London’s Chelsea, 18 months after originally securing the unit.

The restaurant at 127 King’s Road, which was formerly occupied by Black & Blue, will have 80 covers and serve an all-day menu and offer takeaway.

The group, which previously said it planned to open up to five sites over two years, launched its first site in the UK last September in London’s Soho after it secured the Savannah Jerk site in Wardour Street at the end of 2012.

The concept, which has been described as a “classic throwback burger joint” is the brainchild of chef Hussein Hadid, Montreal-based format developer Joey Ghazal and the Par Contre Restaurant Group.
