Bill’s, the Richard Caring-backed chain, has further strengthened its London presence, by securing a site in Battersea.

The 41-strong group, which has also recently secured a site in Cheltenham’s Regent Street, has secured a 3,000sq ft site in Northcote Road. Set over two floors, the new site is due to open at the end of this summer.

The company recently secured its first site in Scotland, in Glasgow, and has further openings lined up in Woking, Liverpool, Farnham, Newbury and Camberley.

It is also thought to be eyeing opportunities in Leeds, Watford and Taunton.

Casey Phillips, acquisitions agent at Shelley Sandzer, which acted for Bill’s on the deal, said:  “Nortcote Road is extremely sought after and as such the area boasts an extremely impressive tenant mix. Sites in London locations such as this are seldom available nor have the correct capacity or A3 planning consent.”
