Bill’s Produce, the grocery and café concept backed by Richard Caring, has moved closer to opening sites in Guildford and Chichester after submitting applications on sites in the two towns, as it looks to grow its estate by eight sites this year. The group, which secured its ninth site earlier this month in Wimbledon, has submitted a listed building application in a bid to open a branch in the Grade II-listed Butter Market building in Chichester. The company, which last week finally gained approval to open in Horsham, has also submitted a licensing application for the Angel Posting House and Livery hotel site in Guildford High Street. The group, which currently has seven sites in operation, has already secured a further site in London after acquiring the remaining two sites operated by high-profile chef Aldo Zilli in Soho. It is also understood to have submitted a licensing application to open on the site of the former Early Learning Centre in Bath. An opening in Cardiff has also been mooted.
