Bill’s and Jamie’s Italian have signed up to the WestQuay Watermark leisure development in Southampton, which is due to open in late 2016.

Both brands are taking untis in the plaza of the Hammerson scheme that include outside terrace seating.

Wahaca, Byron, Five Guys, Zizzi and Nando’s have all also signed up to the £80m scheme in the city centre.

Bill’s will occupy a 3,100sq ft unit on the lower promenade while Jamie’s Italian has signed to take a 5,100sq ft unit.

Sarah Fox, head of restaurants and leisure at Hammerson said: “Both Bill’s Restaurant and Jamie’s Italian are great additions to the array of restaurants we have already attracted to WestQuay Watermark. Welcoming more new restaurants to Southampton is testament to the fantastic new leisure and dining hub we are bringing to the city and only strengthens the appeal that it will have for customers to enjoy the premier retail, leisure and dining destination in the area.”

Bill’s managing director, Roberto Moretti, said the group is delighted to be part of the development and to introduce the brand to Southampton.
