Big Mamma, the operator of Gloria and Circolo Popolare, is launching a delivery-only brand, Napoli Gang.

The brand will initially be available within a two-mile radius of its Shoreditch kitchen, followed by an expansion to Kentish Town next week, with further locations to be announced.

The Paris-based group, which has two popular restaurants in London, said it began experimenting with delivery and click and collect during lockdown.

The brand capitalises on its some 200 producers in Italy, with a pizza-focussed menu, that also includes charcuterie, antipasti, fried risotto balls and Tuscan pork stew lasagna.

It also serves wine, cocktails in glass bottles, craft beer, and deserts including gelato and sponge cake

As part of the project Big Mamma has joined forces with Street League, a UK-based charity which helps young people from disadvantaged backgrounds into employment.

It has also made a commitment with delivery partner Uber Eats to pay 1% of order turnover to delivery drivers.
