Big Easy, the barbecue and lobster shack concept, is to launch its first grab & go shop later this summer, MCA understands.
The new format will be a part of the group’s 11,000sq ft Canary Wharf site and serve coffee and sandwiches.
It is thought that group is currently exploring new formats, with Helen Cook, formerly of Novus, having been recently appointed as it new marketing and commercial director to oversee a number of projects the business has in its pipeline.
Dinuka Bandara Gunasekara also recently joined the company in the newly created role of director of coffee, initially focusing on Canary Wharf, then moving into a development role across the group.
Last month, the group said that the Canary Wharf site had been an “overwhelming success” and that it had “surpassed all expectations”.
