Asadal, the Korean barbeque restaurant group, which operates its eponymous brand and the Bibimbap concept, has secured the former Union Jacks site at Central St Giles, M&C Report understands.
Jamie Oliver Restaurants closed three of its four Union Jacks sites earlier this year. Jackson & Rye took the Chiswick unit, while it is thought that the remaining restaurant in Winchester is also close to be sold.
Earlier this week, Asadal secured the Chapters Deli in the City of London and is thought to be in talks on a further site in the capital for an opening this year.
The original site in Holborn was opened six years ago by owner Daniel Parks.
CDG Leisure acted on the Chapters Deli and Union Jacks deals.
