Burger & Lobster and CAU are both set to open in Bath later this year, M&C Report understands.

The two operators have secured sites in the city’s Milsom Place scheme alongside the likes of Carluccio’s, Cote, YO! Sushi and Jamie’s Italian.

The opening will mark the third regional site for Burger & Lobster, which is also in talks to launch in Liverpool and Leeds.

It opened in Cardiff near the end of last year and will open in Manchester this spring.

CAU, the casual dining sister concept to Gaucho, recently secured its first site in the Midlands.

The nine-strong group has secured a c3,500sq ft unit under the offices of GVA Grimley in Birmingham’s Brindleyplace for an opening later this year.

The company secured a 5,800sq ft site next to Tom’s Kitchen in Commodity Quay, London, for an opening by the end of March.

It is on track to open four sites by the end of April and six restaurants in total in the first half of this year as it looks to grow to 17 sites by the end of 2015.
