Aubaine, the French restaurant and patisserie concept, is to grow to five sites in London, after acquiring the former Chez Gerard unit in Mayfair from Paramount Restaurants. The site in Dover Street will be converted under the Aubaine brand over the coming weeks and its sale is part of Paramount’s disposal programme of its non-core assets. Owned by Lebanese businessman Hani Nakkash, who is also a partner in the award-winning L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon restaurant, currently operates four sites under the Aubaine name across the capital in Brompton Cross, Regent Street, Selfridges and Kensington.
