Aubaine, the London-based French restaurant, boulangerie and patisserie concept, has opened its second site in Dubai in less than a year.

The group, which currently operates nine restaurants locations across London, opened a restaurant in Dubai at Christmas on the ground floor at the main entrance of The Dubai Mall.

It has followed this up with the an opening in urban destination scheme City Walk, Dubai. The group is believed to be already looking for a third location in the region.

The group will launch its first site under a new deli concept in Covent Garden Piazza this month.

Nick Young, Aubaine UK’s chief executive said: “Aubaine is incredibly proud of its bakery and boulangerie, and our first Aubaine Deli will showcase this. We will open all day and offer a range that will be unique to Covent Garden and rooted in our French heritage, but with a modern Aubaine twist. It is an exciting step for us as we look to expand and build our business and brand.”

The menu at the Deli concept will change seasonally and will offer a range of products freshly made in Aubaine’s bakery including new products from the company’s signature boulangerie and viennoiserie range, sandwiches made from its own breads, authentic French breakfast dishes alongside salads and sharing boards.
