Aubaine, the French restaurant and patisserie concept led by Hani Nakkash, has appointed Raoul Federman, formerly of Drake & Morgan, as its new group finance director, M&C Report understands.
Federman joins the nine-strong group after three and a half years at Drake & Morgan, where he oversaw last year’s £30m management buyout by Bowmark Capital.
M&C Report understands that Drake & Morgan is currently in the process of recruitment a new finance director.
Aubaine has identified a number of target towns and cities in southern England as it looks to open its first site outside London. It will probably open a unit in the Home Counties next year.
Nakkash declined to reveal the location but said the brand is actively looking in Oxford, Cambridge, Windsor, Bath, Esher and Guildford, to name a few.
