Boutique bowling company All Star Lanes is to overhaul two of its London sites, MCA has learnt.

Around £100k will be spent on the group’s Holborn venue before Christmas as part of a refresh that will ‘bring it up to scratch’, Christian Rose, the group’s managing director, told MCA.

“Brick Lane will be a complete revamp. We’re spending over £500,000 on that site in January and we’ll spruce up the rest of the estate elsewhere.”

The concept, which has venues in Bayswater and Manchester Deansgate, recently unveiled a private lane inspired by the original bowling lanes in the White House in Westfield Stratford City.

Rose confirmed the group is looking to open an additional two sites in 2017 and a further three or four “every year thereafter”.

“We want another three in London and we’re looking at Leeds, Liverpool, Bristol, Birmingham to name but a few,” he added.
