The site is currently occupied by Kosher restaurant Bevis Marks and was sold was sold off a guide price of £175,000 on a leasehold basis.
The transaction handled by specialist business agents Christie & Co and the process and development of Chiodo’s new endeavour was supported by Stefano Potorti and his professional consulting team at Sagitter One.
Christie & Co associate director Stewart Harkness brokered the deal and said Aldgate was a great location to start in the City, being close to Aldgate Station and the wealth of commercial office buildings the area has to offer.
“Furthermore, there is extensive development being conducted just across the road, where it is said that a new hotel is to be built. All of which makes this site ideal for this new and exciting venture.”
