Aiden Byrne is to open his first restaurant in Liverpool, after acquiring The Vincent Café & Cocktail Bar – owned by Paul Adams and footballer Steven Gerrard, MCA’s sister title BigHospitality has reported.
The venue will trade under new management from 2 April and will relaunch as The Metropolitan Bar & Grill Rooms later this year.
“I have built my reputation with a fine dining tasting menu, however I have always wanted to deliver a high-end grill rooms concept,” he said.
Byrne recently relaunched his Manchester fine dining venue as Restaurant MCR, which is backed by Medusa Hospitality.
