Aagrah, the Shipley-based Indian restaurant chain, has continued its expansion across Yorkshire, with the opening of its 13th site under its eponymous brand near Leeds. The company, which was founded Mohammed Sabir in 1977, has converted the former premises of Casa Mia Grande and its neighbouring Veuve champagne bar on Harrogate Road in Chapel Allerton. The family-run business currently operates 15 sites in total across West, North and South Yorkshire, including Cafe Aagrah and the Midpoint in Leeds, a £3m, purpose-built conference and banqueting centre. Future locations targeted in East Yorkshire include Hull, Beverley and Scarborough.
