Yummy Pubs, the venture led by Tim Foster and Anthony Pender, has started trials of online ordering and a takeaway offer at its Somerstown Coffee House site in north London, M&C Report understands.

The group believes the online ordering options, which will see the site’s menu updated in real time, will be a game changer for the pub that is popular with time-poor office workers.

The takeaway option features a burger and fries, plus a drink for around £10.

Earlier this year, the company has set out three ways of growth, including looking for franchise partners.

Yummy, which operates four pubs in total, said it’s also looking for investors, “individuals or organisations who want to invest funds in new sites and don’t want to be too hands on, where a report and scheduled meeting structure is preferred”.

The final method is through partnerships.
