Yellowhammer, the troubled bar operator, has closed its high-profile Sports Cafe site in Haymarket, central London.
It’s understood that an application has been lodged to change the name on the venue’s licence.
Yellowhammer, which trades under a number of subsidiaries, underwent a strategic review last year that saw it exit a number of locations and has since closed more. Earlier this year it sold a package of three outlets to retro music bar operator Fever Bars.
In February this year a subsidiary, Yellowhammer Trading Limited, was placed in administration.
