Alan Parker, the outgoing head of Whitbread, is to lead a key gathering of senior pub sector executives this autumn.
The FTSE 100 chief executive will be the keynote speaker at this September’s UK Pub Retail Summit, a one-day seminar and congress, organised by M&C Report and the Morning Advertiser.
In what will be one of his final major addresses as Whitbread boss, Parker will reflect on his tenure at the helm of the leisure group and consider the key challenges facing the pub industry, and the wider leisure market.

Jonathan Downey, managing director, Match Bar Group
