Vanellus Inns, the Norwich-based group run by award-winning licensee Victoria MacDonald, has taken on two new sites, to grow the company to five, MCA has learnt.
MacDonald told MCA she had agreed with Ei Group, which owns two of her existing pubs, to take on the Bell Vue in Norwich and The Buck in Thorpe St Andrew.
The pubs will join her existing portfolio of The Old Ram, Tivetshall; The Cellar House, Eaton and The White Lodge Attleborough.
She told MCA she hoped to re-open both before Christmas and would be concentrating on improving the food offer alongside executive chef Sean Kent.
MacDonald has been praised for her work in reaching out to the community around her pubs and in February 2016 incorporated the local post office into the Cellar Hose, officially becoming Sub-postmistress for the village.
