Urban Pubs & Bars has secured its 11th site and has two more in the pipeline, MCA understands.
The company, which was launched in 2013 by Realpubs founders Malcolm Heap and Nick Pring, has taken on the site of the second Southern Joe’s Table & Bar, on Kentish Town Road.
The group is understood to also be in legals on a further two sites for this year.
The closure of Southern Joe’s means parent company Maxwell’s Group now operates just one site under the model, in Covent Garden.
Earlier this year the group announced the acquisition of two pubs from JD Wetherspoon - the Gatehouse in Camden and The White Lion in Stroud Green.
