Town & Country Inns, he bar business led by entrepreneur Keith Williams, has sold a trio of leisure investments in the West Midlands to Kames Capital, the investment management firm, for £6.9m.

The deal is for the adjacent Apres and Mechu bar and restaurant venues on Summer Row in Birmingham, plus office space above, and a second Apres on Bird Street in Lichfield.

Totalling a combined 31,200sq ft, the properties have been leased back to Town & Country Inns for a term of 25 years.

The group currently operates five sites under the Apres format, plus the Fleet Street Kitchen & Bar in Birmingham, which comprises a restaurant with a menu created around a charcoal indoor barbeque grill and a downstairs bar offering live entertainment.

Ned Jones, director of investment at Savills, which acted for Kames, said: “These assets are in prime Midlands leisure locations and offer a good return from one of the region’s most respected and long -standing independent chains, making them a strong addition to our client’s portfolio.”

Colliers International acted for Town & Country Inns.
