Lancashire brewer and pub operator Daniel Thwaites has revealed a new marketing campaign for its pubs during for the expected bumper trading period over the extended Easter holiday. The “Four Holidays and a Wedding” campaign will run from 23 April until 2 May, taking in St George’s Day, the royal wedding. Easter and the May Day bank holiday. Thwaites’ tenanted pubs are being provided with a marketing toolkit that includes posters and flyers. The tenanted pub with the best business building ideas can also win £1,000 of Thwaites beer plus a trade boosting kit from Kelly’s Eye worth over £350. Activities already planned at Thwaites pubs range from firework displays on the wedding night to car park street parties and afternoon tea parties, Easter egg hunts and sponsored walks in aid of Help for Heroes on St George’s Day. Nicola Kemp, pub marketing executive at Thwaites, said: “We are providing maximum support to our tenanted customers to ensure that they have all the material they need to provide consumers with a varied range of activities and entertainment over the extended Easter holiday period.”
