Celebrated music venue and restaurant, the Troubadour has been put on the market.

Christie + Co is handling the sale of the three leasehold properties which make up the venue, including a ground floor restaurant, with 114 covers, a basement club with capacity for 132 and a wine shop with basement wine bar seating 20.

The Troubadour was established 1954 and has played host to musicians from Bob Dylan and Paul Simon in the 60s and 70s to Adele, Ed Sheeran and Amos Lee more recently.

Simon Chaplin, director, pubs and restaurants at Christie + Co, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to acquire a slice of history and The Troubadour has a loyal clientele made up of both locals and those travelling from further afield to visit the venue. The business benefits from income from the wine shop, club and restaurant and there is scope for the new purchasers to build on the strong following The Troubadour has.”
