The Stable, the pizza and cider concept, in which Fuller’s has a majority stake, has placed its site in Bath on the market, as it looks to move to a larger site in the city, M&C Report has learnt.

A Fuller’s spokesperson said: “We can confirm that we are in negotiations regarding a larger site in Bath for our craft cider and gourmet pizza restaurant, The Stable. As a result, we are in the process of moving from our current site and it is, therefore, on the market.

“We are delighted with our success in Bath and are looking forward to welcoming new and current customers to our new site when we open.”

The seven-strong brand is close to finalising terms on four new sites which will open in the next 12 months.

These will all be in character properties and in university towns and cities.

M&C Report believes Cardiff and Southampton are two of the four locations the group is lining up.

An eighth opening has already been secured in Plymouth for next spring.

Fuller’s acquired a 51% stake in The Stable, the then six-strong craft cider and pizza restaurant business, for £7.3m, earlier this year.
