TGI Fridays is set to reopen in-restaurant dining in 66 of its sites on 6 July under a new name.

Rebranded to ‘Famous at Fridays,’ the group will showcase its new design in six of the opening sites, and new elements will also be introduced across the estate.

A new simplified menu will offer pot stickers, cobb salad and loaded potato skins, alongside re-introduced cocktails including a Negroni, Aperol Spritz and Expresso Martini.

The Famous at Fridays restaurants include Covent Garden, Leicester Square, Birmingham Hagley Road, Nottingham, Manchester Royal Exchange and Glasgow Buchanan Street.

“Our new Famous at Fridays restaurants take us back to what we are famous for,” said Robert B. Cook, Friday’s CEO. “We have invested in the return of classic dishes made with quality ingredients, re-energised bars full of energy and theatre, all of which will be complemented by consistently brilliant and iconic Fridays service and spirit of generosity.

“We can’t wait to safely welcome our guests back through our doors.”

The brand has said it also intends to continue its all-new click and collect service (which was started during lockdown) when restaurants reopen.
