TCG Acquisitions, the managed pub group backed by Alchemy Partners, has appointed Mark Fontaine as its new finance director.
Fontaine has a background in retail and is a former finance director at TJ Hughes, the discount store operator, and New Look, the high street fashion chain.
David Ford, chief executive, said: “We’re very pleased to have appointed Mark. He is experienced in multi-site retail and has worked with private equity so is perfect for us.”
Fontaine joined TCG – the operator of about 160 pubs and bars including the Tattershall Castle boat moored on the Thames in London – last week.
