Stonegate Pub Company, the 560-strong managed operator, has named Richard Bruce as its new marketing director. Bruce was previously head of brand and customer proposition at Homebase. He has also worked for other major retailers Marks & Spencer and Argos. Toby Smith, chief executive of Stonegate, said: “I am delighted that Richard is joining the Stonegate management team. His experience of developing brands and customer offers will be a great addition to our business.” Bruce, who joined Stonegate on 2 July, said: “It’s the perfect time to join Stonegate Pub Company with its ambition for growth. I look forward to joining the team at such an exciting time.”
