Stonegate Pub Company is inviting people to take part in Britain’s biggest pub tour to raise money for children’s charity Variety taking in all 625 of Stonegate’s venues across the country.

The event will take place between 18 May and 26 September 2014 with customers, managers and teams of the pubs and bars travelling between venues with a giant ‘pledge passport’ to be passed baton-style between venues.

Participants are encouraged to use quirky transport methods between pubs, such as roller skates, helicopters and zip wires, to move around the country beginning in Hastings’ Yates’s  and ending 124 days later at the Slug and Lettuce at Tower Bridge, London.

Stonegate aims to raise £100k for Variety through a JustGiving donation page at www.justgiving.com/company/stonegate
