Spirit Pub Company is to roll out an online reservation tool that enables each individual pub to “intelligently” manage online bookings.

The company has worked with liveRES for the event booking system, which is currently being introduced to Spirit’s Flaming Grill, Fayre & Square, Chef & Brewer and Taylor Walker brands.

Spirit said the system enables guests to book larger group sizes, facilitate deposit payments, tailor menus to specific requirements, and identify children and adult covers.

It first introduced it two years ago and said traditional booking systems failed to manage demand for larger, more bespoke enquiries.
